After running the Android P Beta Install on my Pixel 2 XL I am able to see my photos in the Photos app but when using a file Explorer the DCIM folder is now empty and the same photos are unable to be uploaded to Google Photos with error "not backed up. Too big or unknown". Size it not the issue as I have bigger photos and video in file size already backed up. It seems to be the last 50 photos or videos or so and the only other platform I have read this happening on is iOS when users try to upload to Google drive which was a file compression issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
