I have tried a few offline navigation programs, like Here WeGo and one or two others, and even Google Maps with downloading maps offline, and when it wants to calculate a route, it requires internet access!

I would like an offline navigation program that not only has the map offline, but does its route calculation locally, i.e. that doesn't require the internet to do its route calculation.

    Any suggestions?

If, instead of giving it a street address, you give it latitude and longitude (the way MyDirections does), it should work offline, even if it has to recalculate. (Besides, MyDirections is an easier way of keeping locations if you need to keep a few. It's free - install it and see. It's old, but it still works - I just used it this morning - I can never figure out where the turn to the VA is. Maps knows, but I don't want to have to look up the address every 6 months, or keep it as a contact.)
