Connecting samsung S9 to to the computer via USB

Windows 7.
Keeps connecting and disconnecting.
And smart switch not working from i phone 5s to samsung s9
Faulty port? Or an issue with the phone?

Have you tried a different cable? Does it connect? Then the original cable is bad.

If not, have you tried the phone in another computer? Does it connect? Then it would be a problem with the computer's USB port.

If not, it's probably a problem with the phone's USB port.
