I have an issue with my keyboard while typing on my S7. I will be typing say "The quick brown fox jumped" but as I am typing this is what will end up tying as I hit certain keys "The qqqquickly browbrown fox jumpjumjumped". It seems to happen with random keys or random words will just be as if I had copy pasted a word or set of characters while typing when all I did was type. Autoreplace is not active though I do have predictive text. Are there hidden hotkey features that are enabled in some menu that I can't find?

I don't even know how to describe this issue concisely enough to do a google search for the solution so I came here. Maybe someone will know? It is very annoying having to hit backspace to clear the unwanted characters that just appear for no reason while I am typing.

This issue has been occuring for numerous versions of Android including on my S4 and my current S7 which is now running Oreo.

Edit: Since there doesnt seem to be even a way to reply to a post on this crap forum, I will edit my original post. It does not occur on safe mode. I don't have any screen protector.

If it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, that indicates that something you installed is probably causing the interference. Unfortunately, it can be a tedious process to pinpoint the culprit app further -- you may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

In regards to your problems with the forum -- are you on the website, or are you using one of the apps? Make sure you're logged into your Mobile Nations/Android Central account before trying to reply to a thread. If you're not logged in, you can't reply.
