Android Central Question

Hey there,
I use a Galaxy S8+ and have quite a bit of burn in on my screen from the nav bar my keyboard and the status bar as well. now i saw that you can apperantly undo this issue with some apps by putting the screen into negative or something like that.
However i also read that apperantly the only reason this works is because it burns the rest of the screen as well.
I want the burn in gone but i dont want to risk messing up my phone screen performance by doing something like this
Does anyone know more about this?

You can't fix burn in without replacing the screen. AMOLED screens are basically millions of tiny light bulbs. Burn in happens when some of these bulbs get damaged or are overused. We all know bulbs reduce in brightness over time or extended usage, and the tiny OLED ones are the same in that regard.

The burn in fixers just burn in the rest of the screen so everything is the same level of degradation.
