I need to paste a bunch of telephone numbers from my database to Messages without adding to my contacts. This was possible on old phone s4 same app.
What settings or rollback or alternative app do you reccomend?

    Galaxy S9+
    Android 8.0.0
    Messages 5.0.22.1

Samsung supports multiple items in the clipboard, so copy the numbers, then paste. It should be about the same as the S4.

    This answer is incorrect.
When I paste several numbers it throws up the error 'unable to add this recipient. recipient's number is not recognised'
I've tried several separators, ; space and enter but no progress.
    Please advise

    Can someone replicate the error?

Copy and paste all the info to any doc, even an email to yourself. Then you can copy them all at once then paste.
If you know how to navigate to the clipboard, you can see them all there too.

Check the settings in your SMS app to see if you have it setup to require the numbers be in your contacts list.
