Unable to use Home Button

[Android Central Question]

Alright, let me start by saying that this problem seems to have been resolved for lots of people except me.

I'll list the problems and all the efforts made.

Problem:
Home Button, Recent App Button, Notification and Developer Options not working.

1. I own the phone, although other user accounts are added, I'm the main user. And it's Android Nougat.

2. I've done the Nova Launcher - SetupWizard etc thing. Unfortunately, "SetupWizardTestActivity" doesn't appear. What appears says "Access Denied" when I click it.

3. I didn't upgrade any firmware when it happened. I only upgraded the strategy game, DomiNations, and the following morning I experienced the problem.

4. I can't format cause I have sensitive information inside. That will get wiped once I format. Not files that can be cloud stored.

5. I can't connect to PC cause Dev Options is inactive.

6. I have upgraded to latest firmware but still no success.

Please, what other options do I have left?
I have been like this for 10 days now.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have also tried Safe Mode.
