Wrong pattern even if it's good

Hi, I have a problem, this morning trying to unlock the phone (HTC desire 820) I received information that the pattern was incorrect. The formula is 100% correct. Finally, after a few phobe resets, the pattern came in and I have access to the phone, but now to turn this pattern off I have to provide it again in Security options, but it does not work again. What to do to get rid of this pattern? I have access to the phone and have to wake up every 15th time so that the pattern lock does not turn on again. I do not have ROOT. Please help

Restart the phone again (and again and again and ...) until the pattern works both in unlocking and in changing. Then get rid of it. (Don't use a PIN - if you look, you'll see that the pattern is actually swiping a PIN on a 9 key keypad, so that's what's failing.)

The phone is 4 years old - it's probably starting to have mechanical problems.
