My phone will not turn on Samsung Core Prime

My screen went purple, I took the battery out and put it back in, turned it on, it vibrated but no picture. When I phone the number it rings once then goes to voicemail. Can anyone assist please.

That says it all - the screen broke. You need a new screen. If calls go to voicemail, you may also have broken the motherboard, so you'll have to get that replaced. Since the price for either of those jobs is more than the phone would cost, it doesn't pay to repair it. It's cheaper to buy a new one. (Replacing the motherboard also means that all your data is gone.)
