I would like to update Android software Via mobile data

I don't live in area where I can access Wi-Fi that is consistent or fast enough to download Android software updates. How can I update my software Via mobile data with an Android device Samsung Galaxy J-3 Prime?

Are you Sure you want to do that? It might use all your data. If you are then:
Go to settings > Software Updates > Download Updates Manually

#### Found the solution ####

I tried and fixed this in my Nokia 6.1 plus Android version 9 Pie

The hidden settings under Wifi Preferences will manage this option

1. Go to Settings >>

2. Search for "Wifi" in the settings search bar >>

3. Find the settings "Switch to mobile data automatically"
(use mobile data when wi-fi has no internet access.)

4. Enable this option

That's it!!!!!!


You can now download the system update using mobile data.
NB: Please check the data balance and update size before doing this.
