I have Samsung J7 prime with Android 7.0. I'm trying to back up my personal data to a SanDisk Usb drive, but I do not want to just back up everything that's on there and can be backed up. I only want to back up my pictures, videos and documents, no apps or app settings or anything. However every time I plug the pen drive in, all those app files like com.whatsapp and com.google.android and stuff automatically loads itself into the usb. I have already turned off the auto backup feature that's available in the pre-installed USB Backup app, and formatted the drive from within the phone, to no avail. I tried Googling, nothing came up specific for USB Drives, all of them are for cloud based accounts.
Please help me! I don't want to back up my apps because I can always decide to install them again and easily from playstore.
