Alcatel Raven- Why can't I sign into my phone after factory reset?

[Android Central Question]

I factory reset my phone, I verified my email and password and it said "unable to sign into device due to an unknown error. Please try again in 24 hours or try a different account." Well, I did wait 24 hours and tried three different accounts. Why is it not working?

Please help...

Welcome to Android Central! Was this always your phone, or did you get it from someone else? If it was someone else's, it might be Google's Factory Reset Protection in action, which requires the previous owner to remove their Google account from the phone before doing a factory reset. If the account isn't removed, then the phone will expect you to enter that account and password, not your own.

It has always been my phone I bought it brand new. It only had my account on it. And when I did sign in it didn't work.

Did you change your Google password in your Google account around the same time you did the factory reset?

I'm having same issue.I did reset password but it's been 4 days since and still same error message trying to sign in
