Android Central Question

Bixby garbage is being showed down our throats, to "disable" it (partially) on Note8 , never on Note9 - you must first permit for it to steal all your contacts/messages/data.

The main "Note" application : S-Note is never updated for older devices to resemble the newer ones, nor is there any way to sync it across versions or tablets/phones, - this is just bad.
To enable backup of S-Note data to your Samsung account, it demands contacts & telephone permissions. ! = spyware !

The license agreements for all the bloatware is half a day of reading, lots of speculative wording that basically tell that Samsung may share data with anyone in business with them(anyone paying for it)

There should be lots of articles about this, or has the Android-community become sheepish , blindly accepting any abuse, as if we went back to apple ?

First of all, Samsung is not Android they are different entities. Samsung uses Android but they don't in any way equate to each other.
Second of all, they make their phones to their own liking, they can decide what to include and what not to.
Third of all, S Notes is their service, they provide the servers and support, hence they can do whatever they want with it and what you have to give in exchange. They're not going to give it free. And them doing whatever they want with their phones/software does not mean Android users just bend over. We decide with our wallets. Don't like what Samsung does? Then don't buy Samsung. Was that hard?
It's not like iOS where if you don't like Apple there's no choice. There's LG, there's Pixels, there's OnePlus. I don't see what your fuss is about. You don't have to buy a Samsung if you don't like what they're doing.
