Email app cannot add in my Gmail regarding to login errors

Login errors n ask me to check the username n password then try again. I have check it, is correct but still can't add in the email in the phone

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have 2 factor authentication turned on for your Google account? Are you able to access your Gmail in the Gmail app without difficulty?
