Hide lock screen notifications until intelligent/ fingerprint unlock

Hi there,
Wondering if there is anyway to hide the content of notifications on my lock screen until picking up the phone and verifying it is me via the intelligent scan or fingerprint unlock, at which point the notification content becomes visible and then I can proceed to the home screen via a swipe or other action.
Basically looking to emulate what I used to be able to do on my iPhone XS where the notifications stayed hidden until I looked at it and unlocked it via Face id at which point I could review the notifications (in that horrendous format) and then proceed to the home screen by swiping up.
Appreciate any guidance you can offer.

No, if you unlock, the lock screen goes away. You want to unlock the phone but keep the screen locked - everyone would complain about that.

You could add a second lock screen app, but that might get hairy.
