Purchased Pixel 2 XL January 2019. I don't have bluetooth in my truck, so i have always connected my phones via male 3.5 mm AUX cord to headset port on phone.
I am using the (Google provided) usb-c-3.5 mm adapter to accomplish this now. ISSUE: music plays fine over car stereo (spotify/google play music, etc). BUT phone calls and FB messenger video calls are hissy and garbled. I am told "worse" on receiving caller's end. This is a MAJOR issue for me. I have read many of the forum threads. Are there any work arounds/fixes for this??
