Why do I have to use my code every time I try to answer or use my phone

Why do I have to use my code to open my phone each time & some times to answer it

Welcome to the forums. You could use the fingerprint sensor, that would bypass the PIN/Password.

Go to Settings, lock screen and security. You can change your unlock method here. An incoming phone call should not require any password. Perhaps you have a 3rd party phone app or something like Norton security locking it down.
