How do I get rid of the "Message Expired or Not Available" pop-up notification?

It's continual. It pops up at random intervals and can stay up for half a second to about 3 seconds.
I delete the message that "expired or not available" but it continues to pop up.
I also cleared the cache for Messaging, but that did nothing.
Oh, and I have Metro by T-Mobile

Open the messages app, tap settings, turn off send notification.
