My phone stops when it uses the contact app

When I use my phone contacts around like a call when I hang up from the collar a thing comes across as screen it says my phone stoppped

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, select Phone, and then Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, see if the problem persists in Safe Mode.
