If you can't instell the Facebook Messenger app to your phone: try another Google account or Open your device's Settings app.
Tap System and then Advanced and then Reset options.
If you don't see "Advanced," tap Reset options.
Tap Erase all data (factory reset) and then Reset phone or Reset tablet. If needed, enter your PIN, pattern, or password.
To erase all data from your device's internal storage, tap Erase everything.
If you're unable to download video from the chat, you can use FB2Mate to download them like me.

Everything is simple.
1. Copy URL video by clicking share button in Facebook's app and Copy to the clipboard

2. Go to Fb2Mate website and paste URL onto text box then hit START

3. Choose HD quality, done!

If you often want to download videos from Facebook, I think you should google their extension. It's called Facebook video downloader by fb2mate, it's very useful.
