How do l turn off prescriptive text on my dash Imo phone

Welcome to Android Central! The IMO Dash is a featurephone, not an Android phone, so you're not likely to get a good answer here. Can you contact an IMO tech support agent?

I'll assume you mean predictive text and that will depend on which keyboard you're using. Some keyboards, like Swype and GBoard, will have an app icon that appear in the app drawer. The icon opens a dashboard with controls, themes and things like that. Other keyboards, like Samsung and HTC stock keyboards, will have controls in your settings. Since we don't know what keyboard you have it's hard to say where yours will be located but for my Samsung it's General Management>Language and Input, on my HTC it was Language and Key Board. Once there something should give you some indication about settings.

Psst, @VidJunky -- that phone won't have any keyboard like that. It's a dumbphone: https://imomobile.co.uk/product/imo-dash/. Presumably the text input is T9, which traditionally goes hand-in-hand with predictive text.
