Unable to see Exchange calendar in Google Calendar

LG G8: I can add the Exchange account in Settings -> Accounts, and have the checkmarks to sync email and calendar checked. I have the account in Gmail app, but don't see it in Calendar. This works currently on my Galaxy S8+ with what looks like identical setup. Any special thing that needs to be done on the LG phones?

Same problem with my Nokia 7.1 on Pie. I tried different server types in accounts, tap on your MS account, account settings, MS account again, server settings at the bottom. I tried s.outlook.com outlook.office365.com m.outlook.com. The account on my windows phone is m.hotmail.com so I tried that and it worked. Have all three now, email, contacts and calendar .
