Android Central Question
I know this change was rightly criticised on forums, but:
To all those thick, stupid people who (just like me, for several weeks!!) couldn't fathom how to enable dual window on Android Pie (new device) despite countless explanations via searches and You Tube:
When smart people said touch the "icon" after hitting the Recents / Recent Tabs / Square Bottom Left button, and you're frantically touching any icons left on the bottom row and then in frustration going to the app drawer icons, thinking you must be the last sane person on the planet
I finally (being the genius I'm not) noticed an icon attached to the top of the reduced tabs from the Recents button and touched one.
Strewth!!
Could someone add this to any similar explanation, and open a separate Stupid Questions Only Q & A section for people like me, thanks.
My thanks to Google also (not) for layering, burying, moving, dissecting, changing and generally rough plastering over most settings, account options, and everything else Google. It's an increasing mess.
That said, I am definitely enjoying my new Nokia 7 Plus now that it finally updated after 3 weeks from an August 2018 patch and Android Oreo. It's an excellent device.
Thanks to B. Diddy and Rukbat for their previous advice.
Madd.
