Why is ram on my phone ?

Welcome to Android Central! To remove RAM, you'd have to open up the phone and pry out the chips. The phone won't work too good after that. You sure that's what you want?

RAM is integral to the functioning of the phone. So unless there's been a gross misunderstanding on what you are trying to say, what you are asking is not possible unless you're wanting a very expensive paperweight.

RAM is the place that apps run. They're stored in storage, but they can't run in storage, they have to be loaded from storage to RAM to run.

That's how all computers work (From super mainframes to microwave oven controllers), and your phone is a computer.

From your title I suppose that you must mean a ram in the sense of a male sheep. There is alas nothing that Android Central can do about removing it, nor can we say why it's sitting on it.

Well of course 'ram' has several meanings, but it seemed relatively improbable to me that, for example, a ram in the sense of an instrument of force lay on the phone, whereas male sheep lying on phones is probably a daily occurrence in some parts of the world. In any event, we are alas hardly in a position to help.

To be fair, helping the OP get a male sheep to stop sitting on his phone is much more feasible than removing RAM chips from the motherboard.
