downloading anything crashes the app I'm using

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that when you try to download something (like a file or image) from a website on Chrome or an attachment on Discord, or try to install and app from the Play Store, that particular app crashes? Does this persist after a reboot? How about in Safe Mode? (You'd only be able to test Chrome and the Play Store in Safe Mode.)
