COOLPAD LEGACY wifi keeps disabling/switching off

Hey all,

I've just bought a Coolpad Legacy. A few times a day, my home wi-fi keeps getting listed as disabled. All I have to do to fix it is tap my home wi-fi under the connections menu — it instantly reconnects. But when it's disconnected, I miss important messages. Please, if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

About a month ago someone posted here with the same problem but no one seemed to have any solutions. My wi-fi is fine and connected fine to my last phone and my other devices.

Thanks everyone.

Hi, thanks for registering!
So it keeps disconnecting from only your home wifi?

I have "Network & Internet" and I don't see any reset options. I also type "reset" into the search bar in my settings menu and nothing comes up
Interesting, every phone different might not have it , but probably should go into every settings in phone settings menu, did you try forget?

If it helps, wi-fi seems only to disconnect while phone is sleeping. I am running Android version 9.

I have done some googling and apparently in past versions there was some sort of "turn off wifi while sleeping" option, but I cannot find it in this version of android

Are you able to test this on a public wi-fi network, like at your local library or coffeeshop?

If the problem only happens on your home network, try rebooting your router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds.

If the device has power-saving modes or 3rd party battery-saver apps, make sure they're turned off.
