Android Central Question

Just got a Galaxy Note 10 and words like 'today' and 'tomorrow' are now underlined. Upon clicking on them it links to my calendar. I've cleared cache, force stop, did updates, rebooted, checked all settings in my message and calendar and I just can't figure out how to make it stop.

That is a feature of the messaging app you are using. (Which app are you using?)
The app should also be marking HTML URLs as clickable.

Check the app settings to see if you have the options to turn off the URL clicking, which should include the calendar clicking.

I have stock messaging have web links turned off and still sends today and tomorrow underlined. It does send like that to ppl to as I text myself and it comes through as underlined. I had same settings and everything on my note 9 and it didn't do this so it must be a bug that seriously needs to be fixed.

The text messages are just pure text, no formatting like in HTML. What the receiver sees is dependent on the app the receiver is using.

Your older Note 9 used an older version of the stock texting app, which apparently did not do the calendar references.

I would recommend trying a different SMS app, maybe "textra", so that you get more control over the way the text messages are displayed.
