Galaxy Tab A: Password Settings Crash.

[Android Central Question]

I added a password onto the Galaxy Tab A, and the tablet did not lock despite resetting the device.
When i attempt to get to the password screen in settings, and enter the password to change the settings, the settings app crashes.

I tried doing it again in safe mode and it still crashes.

What can i do to either get the password working and not crashing, or remove it entirely?
