Android Central Question
I just bought this phone.
I use an OS map system for walking called Anquet OMN.
It uses GPS to plot the track being walked on an OS map.
It works fine on the new phone, but if press the power button momentarily
to sleep the screen and save power, then press it again to recover the screen, I find that the GPS has been turned off during the screen sleep period.
The software in the meantime has only produced a straight line, rather that following the route walked.
So it seems that either Motorola, or Android have decided that GPS is not required when the screen is put to sleep / standby.
Has anyone found this problem (it may also occur in android maps) and is there a solution.
