2 images are formed while storing images on sd card.

[Android Central Question]

While I transfer images/videos from myfiles to device memory or sd card, I find 1 each of image on all the 3 locations. Further, if I delete 1 image from anyone of the locations, the images ffom other 2 destinations also get deleted. Thus am unable to retain an image only in the sd card to save the phone memory and serve the purpose of installing sd card. In other words how does the memory card save phone memory ? Thanks
