Android Central Question

Apologies if this is a silly or badly-worded question but this ageing non-techie has to write tech stuff in words of one syllable!

I send out emails regularly to family and friends updating them on our travels. I like to include images from Gallery of photos taken with the phone.

But they take up a lot of space and wonder if it's possible (easily!) to convert them to thumbnail size.

Searches on the internet seem to be entirely telling me how to compress the photos which I can do, but what I want to do is to reduce the DIMENSIONS of the images.

Any help/suggestions very welcome. Thanks. I use a Samsung Gallery S6 and Samsung Tab A.

To reduce the pixel dimensions, you usually need a picture editor app with that ability.
The two editors I regularly use that can do this are
Google's Snapseed
Adobe's Photoshop Express

In Snapseed, the settings needed are in the stuff about "export".
In PE, you can change the dimensions and compression during the save process.
