Adding VCF

I cannot add a VCF address that is email to me to my contacts on my S10+

In the step by step you are doing, where is it failing?
What is the exact wording of any error message you are getting?

The common steps would be something like:
- after reading the email, save the VCF file to the phone's internal storage
- open the contacts app, select the "import" command

No problem downloading to "my files" but cannot import from the files to the contacts. I followed the steps but it will not import.

Good morning.

I downloaded the VCF to my desktop and then imported it to Gmail via Gmail. Gmail then synced it to my phone and Ipad contact lists.
