Accidentally Opened Word Doc Attachment on Phishing Scam

[Android Central Question]

I recently received an email in Outlook that I opened on my Galaxy S7 and accidentally clicked on the word document that was attached, normally word documents open read only, this one did not and said 'saved' at the top. I can't find it in my downloads or anything in my phones files but I am worried it could have adverse affects or have infected my phone in some way. Any suggestions on how I could tell or what I should do next?

Welcome to Android Central! That's unlikely -- stuff like that is more likely to be aimed at Windows PCs. If you were using the Outlook app, look through its menu settings for an option to see downloaded files.
