why has my screen recorder disappeared?

i use a huawei p20 and, when i scroll from the top there used to be an option to screen record (where the wifi, torch, bluetooth etc buttons are) but now it seems to have disappeared. ive tried using the edit tool to see if it comes up there but it doesnt. does anyone know where/how to use the feature now?

Have you checked in settings>display

Try Settings > Apps > Apps > Three-vertical-dot Menu button > Show system process > Screen recording > Storage, and tap Clear data
