lg stylo 2, music being lost and filed differently, file not supported, mp4a.giga vs mp4a

my lg stylo 2 will play most music files ive downloaded but i cannot share or send or cut. Some just disappeared while i never found others except in my files but wont register in my player and i think they might be different format is says mp4a giga. I don't know what that means all my other music files are just mp4a...... What is the giga mean and is there a way to change them or should I look for the songs In another format and erase those?

Welcome to Android Central! From where are you downloading these files, and are you keeping them in the Download directory only? Does the phone have LG's Smart Clean option? If so, make sure that's turned off, because it might be periodically emptying your Download directory without your knowledge.
