Why is music that I download suddenly going to emulated storage?

I use the Pulsar Music Player on my Moto G Stylus 5G. Up until the past few days, my music has always shown to be in a F47F-16F2 storage on my music player. Now it shows that songs go to emulated storage. I just spent 2 hours editing titles only to find that they totally disappeared from the player. They do show up in my files though so they are still on my phone. How do I get them in a normal folder on my music player though, and how can I make sure any future songs I download go to my regular folder on my player?

Is the "F47F-16F2" storage represent your external SD card? Did you format the SD card to be Portable Storage or Internal Storage?

I don't know. I put the SD card in and it said format so I did it. I am technologically retarded. I'm sorry..

The coded storage name is typical for SD card.

Show us a screenshot of the file manager app where you can find your music files: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. It'd help to figure out what storage location those files are saved to.
