Unable to manually update stock NC to 1.4.1 !

Tried to just drag and drop unopened zip file to NC. Just not taking. Always used CM7 on SD card, and that's not in the Nook anymore. Been a few days, it should have updated during sleep mode. Trying to keep it stock for a non tech friend to use as just a Netflix player, she did not like CM7. Any tips or things I may have done wrong ? Will it update over the air if I have tried to manually update a few times ?

As long as it is completely stock it will update OTA eventually, my guess is sometime next week. If is is basically stock but CWR is sitting on there it will not update OTA. To check boot into recovery without the card in the device. If you see CWR pop up you ended up with it on there somehow.

after following these instructions, you can update as instructed on B&N website.
While in CWM, be sure you format /system and /data before installing the 1.0.1 update.

patruns is correct. CWM is still there even if you did a stock restore. It is blocking the update.

CWM is still there even if you did a stock restore.

If you use this file for a stock 1.3 restore it will completely remove CWR from the device: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

It literally took the update the night of my last post. Thanks ! Netflix was the main reason, but god it is crippled without CM7 ! But SHE likes it that way !
