This game should easily run on stock rooted Nook... but unlike every other app I have ever tried to install, it refuses to install and gives a parse error. I have gotten the apk in several different ways, including copying it off of my phone where it works fine. I'm pretty sure it's not a corrupt apk problem.

Any suggestions? I would love to play this game on my Nook.

Yep, I agree. This would be great to play on the NC but it FCs for me running Honeycomb Preview 4 2nd edition. I watched it start up the first time on my Droid X and I think it might have to do with the OpenFeint integration. I was hoping to transfer my game data from the Dx,which I've already turned off OpenFeint, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

I can't find it in the market on rooted stock, but it does say Android 2.2+, so I'm not overly surprised there. But I can't find it on the market on HC (installed on SD) either, so I dunno.

Anyone had any luck getting this game installed and working?

A user named Avi told me of this trick to get APK files to install. Unsure if it will help but it certainly could not hurt to try it:

1. Go to Nook Color Tools
--There is an option on top to "Allow Non-Market Apps"
2. Uncheck it
3. Check it again
4. Come out and reboot the device

Try to install your apk again using Astro or the APK manager program.

Do you have a link to the Zombies apk?
