Did anyone purchase one if these yet? Seems like a neat replacement for the standard docks were used to. Also, it works with all types of phones and tablets

I got the navigation dock. I just plug my phone in at night and am using my Nexus 7 as my alarm clock Am I missing some adavntage about having the dock? Might ask for one as a Christmans present.

I looked at the dock but decided to pass since I already have something else to put my phone in at night and the dock they are selling doesn't have any additional feature like "built in" charging. You would still have to plug the charger in separately.

I picked up the stand this evening and it's neat. The smart charger has a built in "dock" function that when plugged in puts your phone into dock mode. A regular charger will only put my phone in charging mode so it does me no good if I want it to be docked. The cord was plenty long compared to other charger cords now a days but I ordered a USB extension from Amazon so it's not tugging on it's last inch all day.
