Hi, I'm looking at getting a bluetooth transmitter that I can plug into the aux jack in my car and play music through the car stereo. I was looking at a miccus blubridge rx, any other ideas? Also is the aux that much better than the fm transmitters like the moto roadster? thanks for the help.

I would also like to know more about this.
I have a car that i'm not interested in tearing apart to change the radio to something with blue tooth.

I went with the parrot system it ties the entire phone with bluetooth to your cars radio and allows you to take calls make calls play stored music or streem your favorite app mine being Pandora. And best of all it ties to your existing radio with a harness at additional cost. But well worth it. Hope that helps. And your question about aux vs fm. Aux wins every time. You will never get bleedover like you get with fm. Good luck

Thanks, I've found a Nolan, no idea how good, transmitter on ebay for $15. I might give that one a try.

Could you link us to where you found this Parrot device? Also, I presume since you say, "at additional cost" they must offer particular harnesses for specific car radios? If so, how do you find those?

This seems like the way to go so as to not have to tear-out the existing stereo. Although, it would seem like you still have to do some disassembling in order to get to the back of the radio to hook up the harness. But at least everything would look stock. Also, the FM Transmitters usually stick in to the cigarette lighter and in some cars, that just clutters-up the console. (and by "some cars" I mean mine) :)

For me the aux input and the charger are next to each other inside the center console so they never get seen unless you open it up.

08 Honda Accord. It will be good if this works but it stinks now as I have a cable running from the windshield to the inside of the console.

Please keep us posted as to this potential success of this endeavor. Love to see and learn about the degree of difficulty and if you would be so kind, the pricing involved so that the rest of us could determine if it is cost-effective for us.

And yes...wires suck. I've been trying to find a solution for this for a while. Went to a car stereo place and of course, they want to sell me an in-dash DVD player with a 7-inch screen and with install like $1,000 bucks. Love to just pop the radio out, plug something to the back and re-install and have it work with phone and music and the GPS navigation would also be handy if it came from the car speakers.

Thanks!

Just got the miccus blubridge RX, it works great. It just plugs into the aux jack and the sound is great best of all no wires!!
