Stock email app (pop email)

My father has the maxx. He's using a MSN email address.
Since ICS, his email attachments do not show up in the email anymore (when someone sends a picture / joke, etc). He has to download them and then search for the picture in his downloads.
Anyone else have this problem? What's your remedies? Is there a better 3rd party app for pop email (specifically msn)?

The hotmail app from google market just pushes the contant from email by default and I think you can change this from setting and when the email comes it will download the attachment automaticly but its disabled to save data

You can also use native email app to get the email and attachment

Well, I have no problems receiving or seeing attachments. They just don't show up "in" the emails. Once they're downloaded, I have to go find using Astro file manager...
