I sideloaded the Android P preview and for the most part, it works ok. Problem is, I've tried to go back to Oreo, but I keep getting an error message saying that the sideload through ADB aborted about 50% of the way through. I've tried multiple times. Any ideas about how to get around that? I've tried flashing the images as well to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

    Unlock your bootloader.
And go over to XDA and flash the 8.1 back to stock.

You can then relock your bootloader or root with Magisk.
I think trying to sideload will fail because the asset check doesn't work because AndroidP is not something you OTA from.

Hope you get back to Oreo. I'm not loading a developers preview of software for a soon to be liquidated company. Might as well keep it stable for as long as I can. Six damned months is all I get?
