Switch phones on Verizon

Hello,
I have a Blackberry curve 8330 (verizon) and it has been getting more outdated every day. I was wondering if it is possible to switch to an android and stay on the same plan with the same carrier (Verizon). Also, would the number be the same?

As long as your plan is up to date, (as in, it's not a plan not offered) you should have no issue switching to a verizon phone.

I dont know how much the phone will be for you, that depends on how long you've had the curve and if you can upgrade yet.
