there are two arrows flashing up on either side of the space where I enter my password.

^ ____________ ^ They are filled in but don't seem to do anything. I have tried several passwords that I would use and nothing seems to work. I requested that AT&T lock my phone and I think they did, but now they are saying they never would have done this. Have you heard of this before or seen the flashing arrows around the password login.
