Warranty exchange - refurbished phone

Has anyone gotten a refurbished phone on warranty exchange lately? They are telling me it gets an 82 point inspection and the guts including battery get swapped out. I'm just worried about getting one that's worse than the one I have, which oddly seems to be fine since I got the warranty claim processed lol.

My OnePlus 6T was having some issues with the screen not staying locked on calls and not being able to get to the call screen to answer an incoming call at times. However I changed some setting in a couple apps and changed how I'm using the ambient display and it's been fine since. So maybe I don't need/want the refurbished phone anymore?

I've had several over the years including a recent Note 8 and a Note 5 before that and many others going back years. I've never had any issues and overall they perform better than the broken one I exchanged .

Most carriers use the same company that does the refurbs. I believe they are located in Texas
