For some reason my battery drained extremely fast while it was idle. My phone had about 50% left and an hour later it got all the way down to 14% without any usage. Wifi was on and I didn't get any notifications. I know there are background processes but to have that much battery drained is really strange. Anyone have any advice?

I noticed you have your GPS set to on but it doesn't look like it wake awaking the device.

Possible that you may have had some updates going on in the background?

How long have you been running CM ? If its recent it could still be settling in or been a while it could be time for a wipe and cleaning of things up...

I'm pretty sure GPS has been turned off the entire time. I've been running the latest stable version for about a week.

Since my original post I haven't had any random drains like that. However, I still have not had the best battery life. I know custom ROMs can decrease it, so it's something I'll have to get used to. I changed my CPU governor to conservative and moved the MIN CPU to 810 mhz while the MAX CPU is set at 1512 mhz. I don't know too much about it but I read some stuff on XDA to get somewhat of an understanding. It certainly has helped but for some reason I feel like I should attempt another flash and get a fresh start.

I looked at various guides before attempting all this and I followed the correct steps, but the other day someone said that you should wait at least 15 minutes once your phone reboots after flashing to allow everything to settle. I did not do that and instead immediately started downloading apps and setting up my phone. If anything I feel that may have been a mistake. I've backed up all my apps to Titanium Backup and I think I understand how that works. I've also made a backup of my ROM using ROM Manager and home screens using Nova. So at this point I'm not sure what my best option is.
