I am syncing email between multiple devices using a Comcast IMAP account and I keep losing all messages older than 1 week. I have been troubleshooting and have verified all the proper settings on my PC (Mozilla Thunderbird) and with my Comcast account. I believe I have narrowed the problem down to the Android (4.4.4) default mail client, but I can't find any setting for how long to keep messages. It is just sync on or off. Is there another setting to adjust whether messages get deleted and/or how long to keep them?
Note: I have disabled sync on my phone to confirm whether the Android mail client truly is the culprit, but I won't know for sure until tomorrow at the earliest. Any help would be appreciated!
