I'm looking for a phone to use on Cricket right now. I'm coming from an HTC One M7 on Sprint so my old phone is unusable, but I want the same level experience or better. When searching unlocked phones on Amazon, there are hundreds of chinese models by Lenovo, Jiayu, Elephone, Fome, Iocean, Meizu, Xiaomi, etc. Some of these phones are international models that have FDD-LTE. Some have ranges of channels that won't work here at all. Some don't have the Google Play store.
Can anyone help clarify this huge range of phones? Some of them might be good, it's got to be possible, right? It doesn't o seem like anyone is doing reviews of these phones.
Thanks

Re: There are a TON of Chinese phones. Can we get sort of guide on them?

That's a tall order. Quality and quaity control will vary widely among those phones, and probably even within one manufacturer's repertoire. I'd stick with the companies that are making inroads into the US market, since they will be put under greater scrutiny by reviewers and regulators. That includes Lenovo, ZTE, Huawei, Xiaomi, and possibly Meizu.
