Both the spam and trash has the empty or delete all email capability, except the inbox mail area. I get sometimes 2-300 emails a day and to select each and every one separately is tedious and time consuming to say the least, someone please help me.

AquaMail has a 'Select all' function for the inbox. Just 'Select all' and tap 'Delete' (trash can). I'm pretty certain Maildroid does, probably some email clients like Type Mail, K9, Cloud Magic and others do too.
