SIII not charging from wall outlet but will from usb.

My phone suddenly won't recognize charger or charge when plugged into wall outlet. When I plug it into my laptop, it both recognizes & charges via usb. What gives & how can I fix it, short of replacing the phone or charging port?

Sometimes that happens with old chargers or cables. I think your best option is to get another, because I think the charger isn't quite compatible with the phone you're using. If it's a new charger, I'd check the cable, but it seems like the cable is working fine. Hope that helps at least a little
